home   gallery awards, shows, publications   bio, artist's statement portraits and commissions contact us     Unveiling Ceremony 16 Oct 2007	"NCFD Ring of Fire"   NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA  FIRE HEADQUARTERS SCULPTURE 16th Street and D Avenue, National City, CA   Map   National City Council commissioned artist Richard Becker to create a large bronze sculpture for  the City’s new Fire Station and Headquarters at the corner of 16th Street and D Avenue.  The work honors the past, present and future Firefighters of the NCFD whose rich history began in 1887.
